Future Without Poverty believes that handouts alone are not enough to solve the issue of poverty. We strive to create sustainable solutions focused on the Four E’s: Education, Empowerment, Enterprise, and Environment.
Our second meeting of the Spring Semester is TONIGHT from 5-6pm, inside the Eagle Commons Library- Room 110a. We’ll be talking about our local project (an urban garden!) and other things we can get involved in.
On December 10, 2014, UNT Future Without Poverty received thirty used computers from Safran Labinal Power Systems that will be donated to Sanger ISD. UNTs partnership with the Sustainability Department has also trained 30 some teachers to introduce sustainability education into the curriculum of schools in Mexico. Click below for more information.
